Winter Wonderland reverse canvas-CE

Hi fellow crafters..
It's Nanné here to share an easy 5x7 reversed canvas I created using some of the fun Winter themed chippies from the Creative Embellishments store..
I started off by gessoing my canvas, then added some sprays (purple and light blue), which a few splatters of white paint..  I also found some Snow tex in my stash, but it had hardened.  I decided to use it anyway, by mixing it with white paint and that created the clusters of snow that I added to the bottom corner of my canvas..
I mixed some blue and red acrylic paint to create the purple that I pained my sleigh with, adding some micro beads for texture.
I mixed some clear gesso with light blue micro beads and added that to the bottom of my sleigh, along with some brown Prills and the papers I used are by Bo Bunny, the 6x6 Altitude collection..
I found some flowers to match my color scheme, lightly brushed them white paint..
The swirls I tucked in behind the flowers, is actually the love tree.. I looked at it and thought to myself that it reminded me of snow swirls, so I cut the tree in half vertically to get two pieces, which I then gessoed, painted them white and sprinkled them with white glitter.. they have a sweet snowly sparkle to them :)
and I finally felt like my canvas needed a saying and so painted the "Winter Wonderland" to go with my color scheme.
this really was a quick and easy project and you can create your own by grabbing a few of these great chipboard sets and dont' forget there is an amazing sale going on till December 25th..
Thank you for stopping by today
Till next time

Here are the cards I created:

I used the Fancy Frame dies to create the scalloped edges to my cards and then with a few fun winter themed stamp sets from the Craftin Desert Diva's store, I was able to create a quick Christmas card.

I love rummaging through old photos of my kids as they are all adults now.. I miss them being so small and the little things we always did together :)
How about a few close ups:

I absolutely adore these fancy ornate leaves. I thought they had such a beautiful winter look to them.. added some heart cut outs, flowers and for my title " Together!"..
Some of the chippies I painted white and others just brushed a little white paint on them.

Christmas cheer-CE monthly challenge reveal

Hi fellow scrappers...
It's the first of the month, which means its Monthly challenge reveal over at Creative Embellishments..
I decided to scrap these photos of my 12 yr old who likes to sleep under our Christmas tree every year :)

Here is the layout I created for our monthly challenge:
I used some of my favorite G45 papers and of course CE chippies..

how about a few close ups:
I love these ornaments..
I colored them using copic markers and then heat embossed them using UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel)

I cut the Berry Wreath frame into two pieces, so I could frame both photos :)  I colored it using Fiber Castell Big Brush markers and then used some red Stickles for the berries..

Thank you for stopping by today
till next time
