Tools of the Trade-PPPR daily

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here today to share a fun layout I created as my design team project for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon.  The layout is of my son Aaron who works for his dad as an Auto Mechanic :)

Here's what I created:
I absolutely adore this tool set :)

How about some close ups and details about the layout:
the oil containers are potion bottles that added the word OIL to :)

My son being a goof ball as always..
(Takes after his mother LOL)

Had to add a car to layout..
I decided to make it a red one since the garage owns a little red car

My cluster of tools..LOL

I decided to add the clipboard, red screwdriver and flashlight to my layout cause its what they use the garage at a daily basis.. All of them keep a little screwdriver in their shirt pockets along with a little flashlight, plus carry a clipboard around with the work order on it which they fill through out the day :)

Cutting files used to create my layout:
Tool time cutting file: Tools and tool box
Photo Frames cutting file: Polaroid frame

and theirs my cute little layout of my son :)
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my layout
Till next time

Here is what I created:

I adore the "Got Coffee" stamp and that teddy bear is just too cute..

I used the Stardust gelly roll pen to add shimmer to the ears
of the bear and the red of the coffee cup..

Here are the stamps I used to create my card:

Sending Sunshine-Card for CDD

Hi fellow stampers..
I'm here today to share a cute little spring themed card that I created as my design team project for Craftin Desert Diva's using the cute little bee and the flowers from the Home Sweet Home stamp set.. I also wanted to add a little detail to my card, so I used the bee swirl from the Busy Bee stamp set, the leaves and sentiment from the Autumn Wishes stamp set..

here is what I created:

I  used the big scalloped edge die from the Fancy frames die set to cut the background to my card.  Once I had the background, I stamped my flowers and then the leaves.. finally adding that adorable bee and the swirl and lastly the sentiment..

I used a Stardust pen on the wings of the bee, centers of the flowers and leaves to add little shimmer..

Masking the flowers was simple and I was able to layer them..
I colored the unstamped areas with green marker to add the cluster look..

Here are the stamps I used to create my card:

Project life-week1-pppr daily

Hi fellow crafters..
Any Project life fans out here? :)
I'm here today to share my daily for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon
At the beginning of the year, I tell myself to keep up with the weeks and do project life..
I've started every January but then slowly forget :)
Hopefully this year will be different..
I'm here today to share my first project life page with you and I created it using some of the fun winter themed and project life themed cutting files..

Here is what I created:

I don't have photos yet for this pocket page, but I did create some of the photo mats where I can slip in some photos with ease..

How about some close ups of the cards:

I love these monthly cut out cards, make creating these pocket pages so much quicker.

used some free fonts to create a week page..

I love coffee, so of course I have to add a coffee cup to my PL card :)
and that walrus was just cute to pass up..

I added a journaling card and though the lantern looked cute with it, since we burn a bunch of lanterns outside since it gets dark real early during this time of year here in Finland..
I also added a few photo mats to add some photos to..

Here are the cutting files I used to create my Project Life cards:

and theirs my Project life page for you :)
so much fun to create your own by using some fun prints and die cuts..
I absolutely love creating my own, they are more personal than buying the ready made cards..
plus, you can use any prints and colors.. Oh yea!!! LOL

I decided to make a fun winter themed card, using stamps, dies and heat embossing.

I used the oven mitts from the Baked with Love stamp set and then the snowflakes from the Chilly stamp set to create a winter themed card..

I fussy cut the stamped image, heat embossed a small snowflake on them using white embossing powder, then rubbing distress ink on them to color them.. Adding some texture paste to create the fuzzy look :)

I stamped the larger snowflake onto light brown cardstock using embossing ink, then heat embossing them with white embossing powder and adding some white paint splatters.. finally stamping the sentiment to one of the die tags I cut, attaching it to the card base with foam tape..

Here are the stamps I used to create my card:
