´
I have started on Christmas cards a little earlier this year, maybe now I'll have them all done in time..LOL
I absolutely love this cute little gingerbread girl and coloring her was so much fun.. adding some details which you will be able to see in the closeups:

The poinsettia digital stamp comes with candles, but I edited the image where I was able to delete the candles and just use the flower..
I also used the die to create the Polaroid frame, using the heart die as a cut out..

I also used the banner die and one of the amazing sentiment stamps from the Tis The Season stamp set, plus I of course had to add a cookie :)

Here is the stamp sets and dies I used to make this card:

I decided to use the Busy Bee's stamp set, lots of fussy cutting (my favorite) and made a fun card for my "honey"..
Here is what I created:

Can you tell one of my favorite colors is purple? :)
I had way too much fun playing with these stamps and I always have to have that fun whimsy scene on my cards, scrapbook layouts etc..
I did a lot of layering with the stamps, then fussy cut it all in one piece, adding the bee separately..
All of the images are adhered to my card base using foam tape, that is where and why you see a shadow in the photo :)
my after thought was the honey stick with the dripping honey on it, which I actually ended up liking a lot..  I cut that from the dripping heart and just used the honey part :)

I used several different tones on yellow and light tans to create the honey in the jars, then added some dots using a white gel pen and a brown fine tip marker..

and finally the cute little queen bee ( kind of like myself..LOL)..
Had to have her hovering over and keeping keeping an eye out..LOL

For today's hop, all of us design team members are creating Holiday themed projects using the cutting files from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon's store..

Here is what I created:
I had so much fun playing around with some of the Xmas themed cutting files..
The photo is of my kids when they were a lot younger, my niece is in the background with blonde hair.. she was staying with us during the holidays..

How about a few close ups and some details:

I love this toy soldier, he looks so handsome standing there next to the photo..LOL
I also added some ornaments to decorate the bottom of my layout..

For this corner, I added a bowl with some candy's in it :) and what is a Xmas layout without gifts and a cuddly teddy bear..

I also played around with the sentiment.. The word "Christmas" I found in the Christmas Cookie cutting file and then just added the rest of the sentiment using free fonts I have on my computer..
That cute little elf is definitely a favorite of mine..

Here are the cutting files I used to create my layout:

Layered Labels 1: Background

"Mad" Halloween wishes-card-PPPR daily

Hi fellow crafters..
I'm here today to share a fun Halloween card I created using the "Science lab" cutting file as my design team project for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons
I've had this idea in my head for a while now and really wanted to share it with you, even thought we all just celebrated Halloween last weekend :)  It's never too late or too early to get crafting on next years cards right?

Here is the card I created:
I had so much playing with all of these cutting files..

Here are a few close ups:
I used the books from the Bookworm couple cutting file, then layered all kinds of beakers and jars on top and in front.. The skull is from the Skeleton Couple cutting file..

The eyes, how creepy but so cute right?..LOL Those eyes are from the beakers in the science lab cutting file and added a the flour container from the Baking fun cutting file as the creepy jar to keep them in :)
The font is a free font I found online and created the large label in the back of my card, which can be found in the Layered Labels two cutting file,  added some bubbles in there to go along with the theme and then of course, what creepy mad science lab card would be complete without glasses..which are also from the Science lab cutting file..

and their you have my creepy mad science themed Halloween card..
Thanks for stopping by today..
Till next time
