Party Cruise- DC reveal SOUS

Hi fellow scrappers..
I'm here to share a fun layout I created for today's die cut reveal: ARROW over at Stuck On U Sketches..
My eldest son Aaron went on a party cruise last weekend and I seen a few photos of him on his facebook page while he was partying with his friends.. I decided to surprise him by creating a fun layout to show case one of those photos..

Here is what I created:

I did not add his photo to it yet., I need to do a little bit more stalking..LOL

How about a few close ups:
I absolute love these happy hour glasses..
I found those in the Pretty Paper Graphics online store..
You can find the cutting file HERE

I added some yellow glitter paint splatter here and there..

I also used my scrap paper from cutting the chevron to use it as a stencil,
rubbing some blue distress ink over it..

Most all of the die cuts are located in the SIL store and I used my
Silhouette Cameo to cut them all... I also used digital papers, which made
printing and cutting my die cuts a breeze..

and their you have my fun cruise themed layout, do play along with our fun ARROW die cut challenge.. you have two weeks to submit your project..

Till next time..

how about a few close ups:

I actually did some fussy cutting.. I stamped one of the girl images, colored it and then fussy cut.. added it to the card using foam tape to give it more dimension..

Aged to perfection-CDD

Hi fellow crafters..
I'm here today to share a card I created using the "Bring on the Cake" stamp set as my design team project for Craftin Desert Diva's stamps.
I've been wanting to create a masculine birthday card for a while now, since my hubby has a birthday coming up soon and got the idea of the crate of wine from the sentiment "Aged to Perfection!"..LOL
Here is what I created:

Once I had the card designed, it needed a little something and so, I grabbed one of the bottles from crate, stamped the HB 2U on it and using foam tape, stuck it to the front of the crate.. I also grabbed my bottle of Matte accents and added some to the caps of the bottles, for effect..
Now it looks good..LOL

all of the die cuts were attached using foam tape..
It has lots of yummy layers on the card..

I  grabbed some distress spray (brushed pewter) I had bought recently and was able to make my cardstock chain look like metal and that made my hanging wooden sign look great on the crate front..
I really wanted to create a kind of distressed look to my card :)

Here is the stamp set I used:
and you can buy it HERE

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my card today..
