For today's blog hop us Design Team members found inspiration from this sketch which was created by our Leah..

This is what I created:

My mom and I went picking sunflowers last Saturday and I snapped a few photos of her and she was trying to jump out of the view of the camera..LOL  I finally told her to stay still and she got all goofy on me.. So, the photo is of my mom standing in front of the field of sunflowers..

I created my own sunflowers using one of the files I found in the SIL sotre.. I wanted a furry look to the centers and so added some glossy accents and some antique copper micro beads..
and let me just say, those little things went everywhere.. no clean way to handle those at all :)

I also added some butterflies and small flowers I punched out with my Fiskars punch.. lots of pink stickles on the wings of the butterflies..

I also decided to grab some pearls from my stash, that I've been hoarding onto and I also got to use one of my Martha Stewart deep edge punches :)

close up of the stickles on the butterfly, plus I rubbed some texture paste to the edge of the layout, just to soften it up a it..  All of the flowers and leaves have been inked with distress inks.

Now, I have some fun challenge information:

If you JOIN in ANY of our challenges this month
you will then be eligible for one of our 2 Grand Prizes! The more challenges
and projects you share, the more chance to win!

So, now you are off to your next stop and that Is:

Till next time..

Home Sweet Home Layout-PPPR reveal

I'm here to share a layout with you that I've been working on as my Design Team project for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons..
Who loves that cute Gnomie's cutting file of Lisa's?  I do, I do.. This has to be one of the cutest files ever and I was so excited to put some of those adorable images to use..

so, with that said here is the scrapbook layout I created:

I decided to scrap a photo of my kids when they were younger and found one of many photos that they helped me in the kitchen baking something.. Those are the photos that remind of me of home.. My kids are all in their 20's now, so these are some precious memories for sure..

How about a few close ups:

I decided to have the froggy sitting on top of the Gnome home, so sized him a little bigger and for details, I chalked all of the edges and added some baby pink Stickles here and there..
Both of these can be found in the Gnomie's Cutting file

I wanted to add a branch to hold the next of eggs and the perfect one is definitely on the Winter Cardinal cutting file.. just made two different tone pink berries and light green leaves..
chalked all of those little berries and added some pink stickles as well.. a lot of work, but so worth it at the end..

and finally the Home sign. I love adding little single elements to my pages and the bird sitting on sign with the lantern on the side was just the perfect touch.. I love lanterns and have all over my house, inside and out :)  So, that is so me right there..
all of those can be found in the Gnomie's Cutting file

Thank you for stopping by today and checking out what I've created for todays reveal..
Till next time..
Get scrappy Ya'll..
hugs

its a cute little mouse card :)
I struggle with puns a little bit, but when this sentiment popped into my head, the creative juices just went flowing..LOL

How about a few close ups and some details:

This adorable mouse can be found in the Birthday Critters cutting file and I created the title with some free fonts I found online..

The margarita glass I used for the bowl is located in the "Happy Hour" cutting file..
The ladder I created myself with some square cuts, which I just welded together using the SIL software and that big tag I used for the background of the card, well you can find that in the "Layered Tags" cutting file..

The delicious looking cherries can be found on the "Ice Cream Treats" cutting file

decided to top the word "cherries" with a little cherry since I thought they were so cute..
all of the faux stitching was created in the SIL software, just print it on your image :)

Welcome to another sketch reveal for us ladies over at SOUS..

I decided to grab some of my Bo Bunny papers, Et Cetera line and scrapped one of my hubby's photos that my mother-in-law gave me from when he was a young guy :)  Our son Aaron looks exactly like his dad and so I love looking at my hubby's photos from when he was younger..
