Sketch it reveal-Whimsical Designs

Happy Hump day my fellow paper crafters..
Today, I get to share a card with you that I created for our Sketch it Challenge over at Whimsical Designs.. Stephanie asked me if I would create a card sketch for her and I was more than happy to.. So, without further a do, here is my take on our card sketch:

and for our sketch:
I flipped the sketch, since I prefer to make tall cards :)

how's about a few close ups:

I attached the birdcage and birds with foam tape to add dimension..

I added a lot of layers to this card and love these prints..
The prints are digital and the die cuts are all from the Silhouette store..

I split the sentiment stamp by cutting it in half long ways.
Its from the "With Love" collection from Whimsical Designs.
Then added lots of liquid pearl drops..

For list of supplies used:

Silhouette Cameo
Silhouette Design Studio software
die cuts: Silhouette Online store

Stamps: With Love from Whimsical Designs
StayZon brown ink
White liquid pearls
Vintage photo distress ink
foam tape
white card stock..

Going Green reveal-Whimsical Designs

Oh happy day!... its finally Wednesday, my first vacay day...  I'm so psyched and can't wait to start crafting, but before that I have some household duties I need to take care of. The laundry, etc.. you all know what I mean..LOL
but before all that, let me share with you a card I created.. I don't make lots of cards, I just don't feel comfortable making them, but this one I really enjoyed cause I got to use the Silhouette design software.. We were asked to use a digital stamp from " A Day for Daisies!" store and her images are absolutely breath taking..  I actually got to choose my own image to work with and I had a real hard time choosing just one..LOL  But, I really loved the image I chose and so, here is my card:

We were asked to use the color green.. so, I used green prints and green stickles..
yummy....LOL

how about a few close ups:
I added a few drops of green stickles to the flourish..

I don't own any fancy markers, so I used my silhouette design software to color in the image, then printed it with my printer.. I ended up hand cutting around the image since my printer wouldn't print the cutting marks cause I had the settings all messed up and didn't know..LOL

The flower I created with my cameo...here you can see the leaves..

and finally my favorite bit, the stamped sentiment.. I thought it was perfect for this card.. and you can also get a good close look at  the prints of the papers... all printed with my printer..

for the supplies used:

Silhouette Design Edition software
Digital papers
die cuts: Silhouette online store

Digital image by. A Day for Daises

Green stickles
white cardstock

stamped sentiment by: Whimsical Designs

Well fellow scrappers.. That's my Wednesday post for this week.. I want to thank you all so much stopping by today and checking out what I've been working on..  Do stop by Whimsical Designs and check out what amazing projects the other design team members have created...
hope everyone has a scrap-tastic week.

Winter Wonderland-SOUS sketch reveal

I'm counting days... Only three more work days and then I get to take my winter vacation, I get 8 days plus 2 weekends.. Go Me!! any ideas, how I'll be spending those days? any ?..huh? any?.. Scrapping my butt off, that's what I'll be doing..LOL
yes, were still suffering from the "Winter" blues.. We have so much snow, that we don't know what to do with it all and around this time of year, my hubby starts his complaining about how much he hates winter..LOL  I on the other, who spent most of my life living in south Florida, love Winter..  yes, you can call me crazy..
so, being that its cold out side and our back yard is covered up to our knees in snow, I decided to create one more winter themed layout..  I once again decided to create with my cameo and this is what I came up with:
The photo is of my furry meatball who I have nick named " The shmell-ster!" LOL
He loves the snow as well.. rolls around in it!! weirdo..LOL

so, how's about a few close ups:

The flowers, leaves and flourish I found in the Silhouette online store.. I cut them in white and then inked them with pink and yellow.. The leaves I cut in green..

same with the snow flakes, they are also from the Silhouette online store..

I adore my little snow man..
The facial stamp is by Peachy Keen stamps that I was given to me as a gift by Stephanie from Whimsical Designs.  I added some cheeks and the eyes with chalk.

The title and the corner flourish's are also from the Silhouette online store..
The papers are a digital kit I bought..

for supplies used:

Silhouette Cameo
Silhouette design studio software

images:  Silhouette online store
(snowman, flourish, corners, flowers, leaves, snow flakes and title)

papers: Digital kit
white card stock

Key to my Heart-Whimsical Designs Reveal

Since Valentines Day is right around the corner (literally) I wanted to create a page of my son Aaron and his girlfriend.. and yes, I've been Facebook stalking again..LOL
I had a lot of fun playing with some digital papers and embellishments.. its so awesome how you can print everything and then cut them with the Cameo.. Loving my Cameo so far ( I'll probably say that every post I created..LOL)
so us girls over at Whimsical Designs were challenged with a "Three, Two, One!" challenge..
We were to use three of something, two of something and one of something... I used a lot of something..LOL   yes, as usual I got a bit carried away.. But its not my fault, just too many options to play with... but I did follow the rules like a good little girl (like always)..

Three horizontal strips and three quote strips
 Two tickets and two flourish's
One die cut key, one photo and  one ruler strip..

So, without yapping your ear off, lets get to the goodies shall we?

I did some stamping on the top and bottom of  this layout.. A flourish in the middle with hearts and an I love You sentiment of the sides..

How's about a few close ups:

Here you can see the top left corner of the layout, the flourish and hearts..
plus the cute little sentiment strip.

sorry this is a bit fuzzy, but here you can see a lot of the stamped image and the title phrase..

The bottom right corner which is kind of identical to the top left..
I thought the sentiment was cute and so, had to use it...
the tickets and key.. All of the papers and images, were first printed with my printer and then cut with my Cameo.. I can't wait to play some more...

For supplies used:

Silhouette Cameo
Silhouette Design Studio software

Papers by. Echo Park hybrid kit

White cardstock
white liquid pearls
foam tape
Stay-z on black ink

white gel pen

well fellow crafters and scrappers.. I want to thank you for stopping by today and checking out what I've created for this challenge.. Do stop by Whimsical Designs and check out what the other design team members have created with this challenge..

and if I don't see you tomorrow, I want to wish everyone a Happy Valentines Day..

Pretty as a Picture- Whimsical Wednesdays reveal

Wow, is it Wednesday again?...LOL
These weeks are just flying by, but that can only mean Spring is right around the corner and were heading towards the right direction.. This is the coldest time of the year for us living up here in Finland and were really hoping it fly's by quickly :)
I've stayed warm by staying inside and creating layouts and for this weeks challenge over at Whimsical Wednesdays, we were asked to use
 "TEXTILES. RIBBON, LACE OR TWINE"
 on our projects..

Once again I found a photo that I've scrapped before, but its one of my favorites of my daughter and I got to play with my Cameo again.. This is actually the very first layout I created with my Cameo, but couldn't post it till now.. so Ta-daaaaaaaa..LOL

I bought the digital prints, they are by Jenny Bowlin.
I printed and then cut everything with the Cameo..
I also used Whimsical Designs "With Love" stamps on this layout.. I

How about some close ups:
These bingo cards are awesome, plus I can print as many as I need..
The flourish is a free image I found online..  and the little hearts are a stamp from Whimsical Designs..

I used the "Today, Tomorrow, Always!" stamp.. I thought it was a perfect choice for this photo..
she will always be as pretty as a picture :)

the font is also one I found for free online and the butterflies are an image that came free with the Cameo..

Love the vintage camera.. got that from the online store.. plus I stamped some of the little hearts on the photo..

Love this film strip.. as I was creating this layout, I knew it needed a little something to go with the photo theme and the film strip was a perfect element.. you can find that in the online store..

The flowers are a free image that came with the Cameo.. I filled them in with the paper print that came with the Jenny Bowlin digital paper collection..  inked the edges and then added some distress stickles to the edges.. very difficult to see though..

Here is the big one on the bottom of the layout..

for supplies used:

Silhouette Cameo
Silhouette design studio software

flowers, flourish, butterflies, font and  ric-a- rac border

silhouette online store:
film strip, vintage camera, border and leaves

so, here is my mailbox.
I was really surprised how easy it was to put together after I watched the video on youtube..LOL

here's a few close ups:
most of the flowers are from I am Roses.. then a few small primas and some of my own punched flowers..
The rosette is a die from Tim Holtz..

I used the "sealed with a Kiss" sentiment from the "With Love" sentiment collection from Whimsical Designs.. I thought it was perfect for this mailbox..

I didn't add any flowers to this side, since it won't be visible on my shelf..

here is the top of the mailbox.. I added some flowers, string of pearl trim and punched butterflies.. I added some silver stickles to the centers of the butterflies..
